Churubusco / Smith Twp. fire units were called to the 600 block of North Main Street Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m. for a report of a garage fire.

First arriving police and fire units found smoke coming from the building, however much of the fire appeared to be extinguished by the home owner.

Upon further investigation the fire was well under control and only one truck was needed.

The fire appeared to have started from the outside and initial reports were that some embers from a charcoal grill were deposited nearby.

Crews cleared approximately 20 minutes later after some minor overhaul.

No one was injured in the fire.
