The female driver of this vehicle escaped serious injury Monday night after striking a power pole on the drivers side.

She was traveling eastbound on Cider Mill Road near 550 East at approximately 8:00 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and traveled into the ditch where she struck the pole.

She was taken to an area hospital with complaints of neck and back pain.
