A pickup truck collided with a Smith-Green school bus Friday morning on 550 North near the Blue Lake Community building. No one on the bus or the pickup truck were injured, but as traffic started to back up due to the accident, another collision occurred.

An S-10 pickup truck collided with a full sized truck waiting in traffic, injuring the female passenger in the Chevy truck. She was transported to an area hospital in good condition complaining of pain. The driver was not injured.

Fog and a blinding early morning sun beaming directly into the windows of drivers was possibly a cause for both accidents.

According to state law children who do not have a guardian on the scene to take care of them are required to visit a hospital for precautionary measures.
