Churubusco and Noble Township fire departments were called to 100 East and U.S. 33 in Noble County Wednesday evening for a vehicle accident with injuries.

A northbound vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a utility pole pulling wires down and then flipped into the parking lot of the Area 33 Tavern.

One person was transported to an area hospital complaining of pain.
